I recently ran a liquidation sale on a long list of domains that I had accumulated and done nothing with.    So I sent an email to my customer base and offered them the list of available domain names as well as some great domains with content and some with sales pages and products.

 The domains were all priced fairly as I really was looking to get back a couple years worth of registration fees. The sites that I populated some of the domains with were high quality and covered unique niches.  Most pf the content was fairly new and the MRR products were recently released.

 To my surprise, the Internet Marketing domains without content did not move. I expected those to be the first to sell.  It was also interesting to learn that nearly all of the domains that did not have a site, were passed over in favor of developed sites. 

The domains with content, “the developed sites”,  were a big hit and nearly sold out the same day I sent the broadcast.  There were multiple orders for the same domains.  Fortunately, time stamped emails from PayPal was the deciding factor in who purchased first.

The niches I thought would be hot are still available for sale. Health did nothing. Forex, nothing. IM, nothing.

SO what have I learned about domain flipping. Get some great domain names and populate them with good content, sales pages and product offerings.  Keep them live for at least 60 days and do some promotional backlinging and blogging. Link theminthe social sites and hope for a jump in PR. Traffic does not seem to matter to the buyers. The quality of the site material is their primary reason for purchasing. A catchy domain name will seal the deal.

Now off I go to create some sites and publish them for the next big domain liquidation and hope for another bountiful 5 figure day! Happy domain flipping!

I just ran across this great script that will instantly create a video web site for you similar to YouTube with adsense and Amazon ads embedded. There appears to be two versions. The Lite version is limited in the number of tags and pages you can have. The Pro version seems to disable those limits plus the pro comes with 20 or so different template headers and backgrounds that you can use to change the appearance of your site.  There are two sites offering these two versions.

I am selling the pro version for $17.  Only a little more money for alot more freedom in how your site is presented.  I would recommend either but I really like the PRO.  For another ten bucks it isn’t going to kill you.
